Montezuma is a beautiful beach destination in Costa Rica where you can enjoy horseback riding on the beach. The breathtaking views of the ocean and lush greenery make it the perfect place to explore on horseback. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget! Traveling along the beach, you can reach the waterfall “El Chorro,” which is one of the few that pour directly into the Pacific. If you’re looking for an adventure in the rainforest, we also have a horseback riding mountain and waterfall trail for a different scenery and wildlife experience.
This ride is open to visitors staying in Santa Teresa, not just Montezuma. We can arrange to pick you up at your accommodation and bring you to the meeting point in Montezuma, about a 30-minute drive, then return you afterward. The beach and waterfall route on the Montezuma side is a genuinely different landscape from what you’ll see around Santa Teresa, and it’s one of our most requested tours. Just note your Santa Teresa pickup location when booking.
